Wierd problem... long story...
ok... just got my car out the shop (mods in sig), but its wierd...
was a 98v6 but i put the motor/tranny from my wrecked 00z, runs fine 90% of the time. im going to bring it back to the shop to get them to check it out (bunch of good people). this was the first time i went all out on it (wow). but on the way back from where we went to do it, its was as if its cutting off fuel or something, ill just be going in say... 4th gear and it just jerks(as if i let off gas and rapidly decel.) then its fine for a sec, then does it again. then i died on me like 5 times back to back after about 15 sec of driving in between and one time the tach stayed at 0 then randomly started working again...
let it chill for 25 min or so, started up fine, drove home from friends apt...
does this make sense? and dont say just bring it back to the shop
i am no matter what, just trying to see if anyone has seen this before(o yea, and the check guage light came on for a few, but all the guages were normal....
thanks
cory

Ground wires. These computers and coil systems are super sensative to proper grounding.
When changing heads a friend missed hooking up one of the 3 ground wires on the back of the DS head and the car would run sometimes and not sometimes. Hooked it up and all is well.

i think i figured it out... its a vacuum hose that plugs into the back of the intake... well it popped out, i put back in and runs fine. jsut got a replacement part for it. putting it in once it cools down
