70,246 and running great. It leaks a drop or two of oil every now and then, but that will be dealt with soon.

Every engine uses a little oil, it just might not show up on the dip stick.

All these responses make me feel better about how many miles I put on mine last year! (about 20,000)

stupid? how is what i said stupid? more like your stupid cuz you implyin somethin else. what you wrote was following a comment "70,246 and running great. It leaks a drop or two of oil every now and then, but that will be dealt with soon."

what would a normal person think if the thead was about how well thes motors run and right after ""70,246 and running great. It leaks a drop or two of oil every now and then, but that will be dealt with soon."
you come out and say... "mine has 27k and eats oil......" how is what i said stupid? yeah...ok....

so anyways... thats great guys!!! but that 250k think i thnik is just a little to extream to compare with street/city driven cars... cant wait to get my dream car..... 98-02 black ws6......... later

Yep the earlier ls1s ate oil because of poorly designed piston rings, I think it was 2001 that they switched to the ls6 rings that the problem went away.
