Yeah? thats better than my EFI LT1 firebird got.

with the th400 and 4000 rpm stall, it probably does.

it does however run 9s and weighs 1620 lbs.

besides, this was to look good, not be practical. when is a t-bucket every practical?

Just because it makes power doesn't mean it absolutely HAS to drink fuel. Filling it up all of the time kind of takes the fun out of it.

And im sure that racecar in your sig gets muuuuuuch better mileage than that, right .

I like that flat black motor, looks very cool and usually im not a big fan of flat black. Also considering it weighs probably 2000 lbs,I bet it pulls alteast 13-15 mpg.

The first pic does look clean, but to make it nice it needs some find of FRC's on it...if the coils are stock/black,who wants to see that? Very clean though,no doubt.

I dont see why it couldnt get good gas mileage, it is all in the tune and the heaviness of your right foot. I would bet that Kraest's vette gets between 18-20 MPG on the highway, if not a little more than that...

Thats cool, but im talking about city driving. If that T-bucket had a 6 speed in it I bet it would pull the same MPG.

Thanks for clarifying that. I was even really low on the highway mileage.
