I have heard a lot of good stuff about Dynomouth and to me it sounds great. But the install looks like a bitch trying to dual it out with only one inlet and one outlet. Thus, I have turned my attention to either a Magnaflow catback or just a Magnaflow muffler swap. I have heard some wav files and to me it sounds pretty awesome. Very low rumble at idle and that classic v8 muscle sound at wide open throttle? Anyone here happy with the Magnaflow?

So it sounds good inside but not too droney? I think it would be just the right sound. Not too loud but not quiet either.

 

I put the MagnaFlow catback on last week... I love it! Sounds nice and smooth during normal driving (absolutely NO rasp or drone!), sounds almost stock when the windows are up cruising at 65, very nice deep idle, and pretty loud under WOT... not Loudmouth loud I mind you, but that's definitely not a bad thing.

 

I've had mine on for about a year now and couldn't be happier. Throw some headers on there and it gets even better.

Sounds like a good deal. I'm strongly leaning towards just replacing the muffler with the Magnaflow. As long as my stock intermediate pipe is still good. That is crossflow style and easy hookup to my stock tips? Correct?
