I'll be able to tell you in about a week, but keep them in the recommended tire pressure, and they seem pretty quiet!

probably on a scale of 1-5 (1 being quietest) they are a 3.

I just put a set of Falken ZIEX tires all around. They weren't too expensive and they provide great traction. I'd look into those as well.

just curious what u guys set your tire pressure at? i set mine at 35 psi, would less tire pressure like 30 psi cause a tire to ride quieter?

that is indeed correct, the place I had mount my tires for me, set them at 36psi cold. This rode rough, and it didn't ride quiet at all. After going down to 30psi, they ride smoother, and it is a lot quieter

The noise is really from the tread pattern and rubber compound of the tire. Letting the air out down to 30 psi sounds like a definitely no no to me. I'd say just get better tires that aren't noisy!

My door stickers says inflate tires at 30psi cold. 36psi if exceeding 100mph, which I rarely do.

you shouldnt be running high pressure to begin with. I never run more than 32 psi.

35-36 sound way too high IMO.

If I go racing at the track, on street tires, I never do a burn out but I do reduce air pressure to 28psi. then up them back to 32 before I go home.

So 32 psi, huh. Maybe i'll try that. Man, I had my new tires put on at kc trends and they set them at 38 psi. I'm a little weiry of having the psi too low and wasting my tread on these tires. These freakin things are 265 each and I cant afford putting new ones on all the time.

I was really thinking more of "below 30" rather than just 30. I would think that 30 might be alright, just not something i'd do.

$265?? Always order your tires from Tirerack.com. For me, its been the cheapest way to get new tires on my car. I have saved over $150 on a set by using tirerack.com.
