Ever since I have gotten the Whisper lid it has been an nightmare. Now after trying to isolate a noise under the hood I saw the lid and MAF coming apart. Anyone else have this problem. Also I have noticed that the lid doesn't fir flush at the back of the airfilter where the lid hits the radiator schroud. Again, anyone else? I am thinking of cutting a notch for the back part of the lid to fit better. Anyother suggestions?

 

You don't list your mods. Do you have a Fernco or simular smooth hose from the MAF to the throttle body? If so that could be the culprit. I took my Fernco hose off because it was pulling the lid loose under heavy acceleration. It has also been known to break lids.

I still have the stock bellow on there. I ordered a smooth one but it has been on back order forever now. TB is also stock BTW.
