Whining noise?

Whining noise?

When i start my car for the first couple mins or so i hear kinda of a humming whinning sound and then is completely goes away and its only when i first start the car up. Does anyone know what this could be? give me some feed back thanks.

Sounds like it could just be the air pump cycling - is it coming from under the drivers side headlight area?

Yeah it comes from the driver's side

I still have AIR and it's not really that noticeable. Sometimes the pump goes bad and it's really loud. You can pull the AIR PUMP fuse under the hood while it's making the noise to be sure and see if the noise immediately stops...if it does it's probably the AIR pump. In colder weather at night with the lights on it'll also dim the headlights/dashlights when it cycles.

Whining noises normaly come from the passenger side ... and if she gets to loud I make get out and walk ...

as stated above, definitely the air pump's electric motor running.
