Where to look for block
Where would be the best place to start looking for LQ4 or LQ9 block for a build up?
What did they come in?
What clearancing etc needs to be done? Are there any books that I should read to get more info on these? I have knowledge of SBC, BBC, SBF and thats it as far as internals......
I need an education with a LS major.....Is this the right place?

It's the 6.0 iron block that came in late 90s-early 2001 Silverados, GMCs, etc. Basically any truck/SUV that GM put a 6.0L into. It accepts pretty much all LS1-swapped accessories and things of the sort. It's a very cheap way to do an LSx stroker motor.
