Where do I find out about certain info on my car. Like the gears and production number etc. I don't see anything on the doors, so maybe it's located somewhere I overlooked.

Well, if it's an SS, you can post over at the SLP form and get a build number. www.slpeng.com

The SLP additional content sticker is on the passenger side door. No sticker, no additional content.

Otherwise, I'd call Chevy Customer Service. With the VIN they can tell you what came installed on the car from GM.

Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center 1-800-222-1020.

Good luck!

You dont have RPO codes on your drivers door? Did you buy the car used? Is there a chance it was wrecked and the door was replaced? Have you looked in the glove box, seems like I remember reading some where placed there? With no RPO codes calling GM is about your best bet on finding out the info on your car.

He would have a build number, not quite like the SS though. The number would be the last few digits of his VIN. Forgot how many digits though...
