where can I get a Shift-Light??

where can I get a Shift-Light??

I am looking to integrate a shift light that I can integrate with my stock tach. if you know where I can purchase one that is VERY BRIGHT (LED?) even in day time, I would apprecaiate it....

MSD makes one. It is very bright. I used velcro to mount it.

anyone have any experience witht he Harlan Shift light?? How bright is it? Is it as accurate as any other tach?

WOW, that light is pretty cool. Does the "skip Shift" Interfeer with it?

Do a lot of ppl get this shift light for track usege? Im thinking about one for my TA

Another vote for Harlen. A friend just installed one in her SS and that sucker is BRIGHT ! She installed it in the A-Pillar defrost vent .. it's a perfect fit and you don't notice it until it comes on.

And, for $55 shipped, you can't beat the price either.


It's my next mod.

I like to have the light mounted up high for racing. I don't want anything that might make my eyes wander down and away from the windshield for any reason. But I race a lot and take it fairly serious.

The Harlan looks like a pretty cool item for street use.

The accuracy of the tach is different than a sfift light. The LT1 stock tachs are known to not be very accurate. I have an aftermarket tach, also mounted up high. I am uncertain of the accuracy of the LS1 tach.

The LS1 tachs are also slow to respond. Harlans light is right on the money.
