Question Whats wrong with my car?

My cars power keeps going out. I replaced the battery the car battery a few weeks ago because the car wouldn't start and I didn't have anything on to drain the battery. I don't think that is the problem because I went a few weeks with the new battery a no problems. What happens is all the needles of my gauge cluster turn all the way to the right and then as they come back down the power in my car goes out nothing that takes power works and I have to turn the car on again. If anyone knows the problem or has any ideas please tell me. The last thing I did to my car was wash it before the problems started happening, could some of the water gotten into the electrical stuff?

probably the alternator take it out and bring it to autozone or somewhere to get it tested.

I took it to the dealer this morning and now i just got a phone call. The technician said he has taken it out four times! and it still won't do anything wrong so he needs it over night

Turns out it is loose conections He drove it 4 times to figure out it had loose conections and probably a fifth time to make sure that was the problem. My bill is for $100.80 and my warranty has a $100 deductible I would have paid the same amount if the entire car was broken, when all they did was tighten some wires.

Got my car back and it has 34 miles on it! should I complain to the dealer for putting on 34 miles when it was a loose electric connection?

nah.. he drove it for times right? thats about 8-10 miles each time.. Considering electrical problems such as loose wires mysteriously appear and disappear, you just have to drive the car around and hope the problem happens.

If your warantee has a $100 deductable, does that mean your just paying 80 cents?

That means the warranty will only cover 80¢. I just paid for it all to avoid the paper work over 80 cents. I guess your right about the mileage.
