whats a ta cover???

i think its something to help your rear end.....
is it worth it and what exactly does it do????

pumpkin cover for your rear. i dunno how, but supposedly it holds the rear end in a lil better. and gives you a drain plug if i remember correctly. also looks better.

It puts pressure on the bearing caps on hard launches, looks great too. You can also get an optional stud kit with it.

I believe summit sells the same thing without the "TA" name for less.

Think of it as a girdle. It just adds support.

It is a deeper aluminum cover, that applies pressure to the carrier bearings, so they dont "float" upon hard acceleration. As said above, it also has a drain plug for convenience.

for 150 bucks, you get an unrusted cover, suposedly designed to disipate heat, stronger, and has the fill and drian plugs. When i put in my 4.10's i am going to throw on a G2 rear end girdle. Same thing just different company. I think it is worth it.
