Here is the deal...ever since I bought my car I have always wanted to run in the 10's high or low doesn't matter i just want 10's. I have never been to the track and I know it might take me a bit. But when I go I want the car to be able to do this. This is what I have right now. Fully ported and polished Heads. 220/216 114 cam. Long tube headers going though a 3 inch y pipe and High flow cats with at the moment a special muffler from the dealer. Its not the Ws6 muffler. Just a high flow one I found out of some kind. I have purchased everything BMR sells for the rear of the car. I do have a hypertech and I am awaiting 3.73 gears. Its a Ram air bird too. What more do I need? The dude that does the work on my car said I would Definitly need a better clutch(which I know) Slicks,rear end...and with that I should be running close to my goal of getting into high tens...My question is what Else do I need? I just want to finish It before I go down there...O no supercharger or N20 for me. Strikly N/A.

Check out samracing.com. They built a 9 second LS1 with no nitrous or blower. Included in the site is a description of everything they did to the car along with some articles from Hot Rod magazine and Car Craft. Good Luck!!!!

Ok looked up website and According to that I just need a bit more then what was listed.. they ran there 98 10.5 at 125mph... I honestly thought that mph should be faster...again I have never ran my car at the track but i always pictured my car to be running like 130 or so when it was pulling a 10sec 1\4 mile.

Yea...But i wanted to pass emmissions when I got this cam..It was a Custom grind from Comp cams so I can't complain..See if i can do everything and still stay legal i will be happy.

You need to get some track times for a base line. With that info, then we can help you with your quest to hit the 10's.

You have a strong set up. Just get to the track.

Thanx guys...Yea i plan on getting a 12 bolt... what I really want to do is getting everything done before I go to the track. If possible i really want it to be legal see if it can be done. I know once I go I am going to do it all the time and I won't have any time for Mods...So i want to get it all done now...That and the first time I want to be kicked off for going WAY to fast...
