It's on the passenger side front, next to my horn. Looks like a reservoir of some sort, and has a small 2mm or so tube coming from it, that looks like it has been cut. I can't find the other end of the tube to see where it might go.

Anyone know what this thing is?

 

charcol canister? i think part of emissions?

It is a reservor that stores vacuum for the HVAC duct work vacuum motors in the dash for when the engine is not producing much in the intake manifold. The line runs to a T near the big bundle of wires near the PCM.
