What Should This T/A Run?
I was at the Super Chevy Show for a few hours today and watched a lot of cars run. There was only one LS1 F-Body there today, a '98 Trans Am auto.
I was talking to the guy and here are his mods:
- 4.11 gears with a Ford 9" rear
- ORY
- MAC midlength headers
- Flowmaster cat-back
- K&N FIPK
- Dry N20 system (not used for the runs)
I watched him make 2 runs.
What do you guys think his times were?

Re: What Should This T/A Run?
Yeah, before I saw him run, I thought for sure he'd be in the 12s easily, maybe 11s, but he ran a 13.1@104 on a 1.7 60'. That car should do that lightly modded. Maybe those gears are too deep for his trans.
I thought he'd run better, but then again, there was a Delco/Mongoose C5 that ran a 13.8.
