What next?? MAF, Perted TB or Intake Manifold

I have only a few mods so far, Free mods, SLP Lid, and Flowmaster (will change that later).

What is the next mod you would recomend?
Heres a few I am thinking of.

1) 3.73 Gears
2) New TB (85MM)
3) MAF Granatelli
4) Intake monifold
5) LTH (probably Pacesetters $)

What mod is the easiest to install yourself with the best HP & TQ gain???

I appreciate your responses in advance.

1) no power gained, just better machanical advantage
2)waste of cash for a mildly modded car.
3)see #2, plus the added bonus of possible lost power
4)LS6 intake is a good mod. Won't see great benefits with it unless you have a larger than stock cam. This gives good power through out the power band, just not peak power gains. But who cares about only peak gains?
5)Not legal in CA, but good mod none the less. Will need other things to go with it like new Y, O2 sims or high flow cats and extensions, etc etc.

If you have an A4, get a converter. Again, no power added, just much better mechanical advantage. You'll actually dyno lower, but you'll run the 1/4 mile ~1/2 sec quicker. Best mod for any automatic.

Do you have A4 or M6?

With M6, I would go with 4.10 gears, with A4, Torque Converter.

I agree with LS6 intake for decent hp/tq gain.

LT headers do give nice hp/tq gain but as stated, you won't pass emission test in Cali.

You could also install ASP pulley. DRs or ETs doesn't improve your hp but does cut your ET on the track.

in order to pass emissions in cali you'll have to get the SLP version of the LS6 intake, the one with the provisions for EGR.

not a big deal, just a bit more money.

i say since you have emissions...i would go gears or torque converter if it's auto.
