what are the holes in the front passenger head?

what are the holes in the front passenger head?
There are 3 (I think) holes that are tapped in the front of the passenger side head. What are they? I'm thinking that maybe something is mounted there on corvettes. One of them looks like a good place to mount my WOT switch. I don't like how it looks where it is now. Any reason not to use this hole?

There's 4 holes total, 2 high, 2 low. That's where the EGR valve used to mount to. I bolted my engine plate to it but used the plate to cover the top 2 holes.
