What up everyone? I just had a cam put in my 00 SS M6 and before I get back from Afghanistan, I want to buy some heads to compliment it. I'm not looking for really expensive heads either. I was looking at PRC LS6 heads from TSP. I just want to spend about 1,500 at most. I can't call TSP from here or get ahold of my tuner so I need some of your advice. My dyno put down 395/373 and i was hoping for 430-450 rwhp. How can i get to my goal with this budget for heads? Mods below. Thanks!

PRC stg. 2 ported LS6 heads should do the trick. Sounds like you are on the right track, Any thoughts on getting a FAST 90/90 setup?

 

i was thinking of going 90/90 but we'll see what the heads do first. last time i talked to my tuner, he told me i'd need some good flowing heads to benefit from a FAST setup but i imagine with the size of my cam, it wouldn't hurt. just not sure whether its worth 1,000+ for it though.

 

For $1500, I'd get the Dart 225cc heads. I made 471 rwhp with those and a FAST 90/90 with a Futral Motorsports F-15 cam on a 112 +2.

The FAST 90/90 will add around 20rwhp/rwtq more than an LS6/ported TB setup for a decent heads/cam motor.
