What is a good Brake system
I am getting ready to change out my brakes on my TA I am getting that warping feeling. So instead of replacing with the same Factory brakes I want to change out my Pads, Rotors and calipers. I would like to know what are some good brands and models. I am interested in something in a slotted drilled rotor. Thanks any info will help. And if there is a web address where I could get these it would really help.
A good brake system is the stock LS1 setup.
A better brake system is Autozone Rotors and EBC Greenstuff Pads.
An even better setup would be a baer 4 piston caliper or wilwood 6 piston caliper.
drilled and slotted looks good, does nothing to improve performance, unless you race in the rain.

If you wanna upgrade, go with the C5 brake setup. They work great and aren't as expensive as the Baer systems.

Where could I find these C5 brake setups?
I have the LG Motorsports G-Stop C5 brakes. They are not on his website yet, but if you call them they sell them. I have over 20K miles and a bunch of autox on the G-Stop rotors, and they have never had a hint of warpage.
LG G-Stop C5 front brakes
Get base C5 calipers if you want grey, and Z06 calipers if you want red. The rear Vette calipers are a direct bolt on to our cars and color match the front (I still have the stock rears).
