Yeah, but if you put a big cam in an LT1-oh wait, no it won't.

Just so there's no mistake here, did he just dyno 451 HP / 408 TQ with a camshaft alone?!?!?!?

Huh, well I guess it's time to start cam shopping!!!

Yes, yes it is. This week I'm not going with that monster though, I want around 390rwhp.

Read his sig. It says GTP stage 2 heads. So not just a cam, but still very impressive numbers. If you go to HERE you can see everything he has done with his motor.

Even though he has the stage 2 heads, the experiment was done with stock heads. Check out thunderracing.com too because they dynoed the same with stock heads. Goodbye 03-04 cobra. We will miss thee.

Um, Poltergeist & Omega9, you guys got conflicting posts! One says with STOCK heads, one says with STAGE II .

I read through that thread again, and I do believe it's 451 HP / 408 TQ with STOCK heads! I also clicked into the thread where he dyno'd the first version of that cam and got 440 HP / 405 TQ . The guy said that these cams are being specifically designed to run with stock heads (but computer tuning IS necessary).

So, 440 - 450 HP, naturally aspirated, on STOCK heads!?!?!?

That cam is way too radical for me.

I'd much rather have 360-380 RWHP that's easily-driven, reliable, and has decent gas mileage than 440 RWHP with a choppy-*** idle, horrible mileage, and a lot more wear and tear. Not mentioning the T-rex also requires 4.10s with a manual or a huge converter with an auto...I'd only consider it for a track only car, not something driven on the street.

Yeah I went through both threads (all the way this time) and it was on stock heads. The cam is 242/248 .608/.612 110lsa +2. M6s need 4.10s and an A4 needs 4000+ stall. Also you need a few other things for it, valve springs etc. Still like I said before very impressive numbers.
