It depends on what car and what year? 2001 got the LS6 intake and a different cam. WS6 models get a little more open exhaust. There's a lot of little things.

My 2001 Z28 A4 laid down a whopping 284 RWHP when stock (Factory dud)


My 2001 WS6 M6 laid down 317 RWHP when stock.


Both cars were built in October 2000. Why the difference? Exhaust on the WS6, and my Z28 was probably built on a Monday.

My Z28 made 297hp/309lb.ft in stock form so I guess that is in the higher end for pre-01's.
