So far I like my McLeod single disk quite a bit. Gave it a 4800 dump today and it was fine. No real trouble with the clutch, but I would recommend a new slave when you change yours over. Thought my old slave would have been good enough off the stock clutch. It gave out right away and started leaking fluid. That sucked... anyway that's my $.02.

I personally like my SPEC stage 3, its been able to handle 425 RWHP 400 RWT, and 4,500RPM dumps with out any problems, and it was only $500.00

How fast can you get your foot off the clutch? Just yank your foot away and let the clutch pedal spring back up into place ... that's a dump.

Personally, dumping over 3,500 RPM will smoke the tires in my ride. I guess I need stickier tires than these Michellin POS tires that the dealer installed.

Cool

I can smoke my rears at about 2,500 RPM dump, but that was what I was after those cool very expensive smoky burnouts

Thumbs up

Great info, sorry it cost so much on your end, though.
