I'm a looking at getting a 98 Camaro, I want an SS, but if I am not able to find one then a Z28 will be fine, but I want to know what the differences are stock

 

A search will net you the best results. I suggest you do that.

Without putting any thought into it though...hood, spoiler, rims, emblems, possible exhaust depending on options.

Just like stick shift said, SS is just a $3,000 appearance package. It looks good, but you can add the SS stuff(without re-badging the car)for probably $1,500, excluding the wheels.

 

1500 thts if u get aftermarket stuff...

a little more if u want a real gm ss hood

or u can get that stuff used painted in that color and you will get it under that 1500.....rimswith tires are about 450-1300 depends if u want chrome or not

 

The differences are what you see listed above, plus a firmer suspension and heavier sway bars.

 

Hood, rims, spoiler, catback, sway bars, shocks, and various other things that was offered through SLP..

 

Just to let you know, the floormats and cargo mat are not standard equipment on the SS.
