They wont touch mine, they told me I took it in for them to look at them - I know they are warped...

He said they looked at the rotors and they looked abused, so they looked at the clutch for the hell of it - and since they both look abused he's blaming me as a driver who doesnt know how to drive... and is abusing the car, and they wont even help me with my warped rotors

I freaking hate trying to rely on Chevy/GM for warranty stuff... not my fault your rotors are warped before 8k miles.

Very true, you're just best of paying a bit more and getting some aftermarket rotors so you dont have to worry about warping anymore. The stock rotors will just keep on warping. To ansewer your original question, I doubt the dealer will cover it since they think you have to "abuse" them to warp them but its always worth a try.

It should. They machined my rotors at Fairway without charge or question, as long as you still have warranty left.

my friend works at a pontiac dealership, and he says they warranty rotors all the time. he said sometimes he just replaces them to see how big he can make his pile of rotors, even if there's nothing wrong with them. he said all warranty work varies GREATLY depending on the dealership, so check around, i guess.

Dealers here in Memphis enforce this policy:

Rotors are under warranty ONCE during the first 12 months, or 12,000 miles ... whichever comes first.

I replaced mine with AutoZone rotors

On my former Camaro, they warped at 7k, got em turned, warped again at 12k and the ****** wouldn't do it under warranty again. So I drove w/ em warped for about 6k miles, then got some PowerStop rotors and Hawk pads and never had another warping problem the remaining ~30k miles I had the car

My Dealer told me 1 yr. or 12k they would cover for warpage. I can't believe a dealer would pull the tranny to see if the clutch looked abused if the rotors looked cooked. That would be more in labor cost than just turning or replacing the rotors in the first place. Just cause you brake hard does not mean the clutch will look damaged. Later>>>>>
