Guys With N20 I Need your Help?

I Installed a NX 100 shot N20 on my 99 SS A4 and my friends from UTI told me that I will mess up my piston rings and will need to rebuild the motor cuz LS1 is does not handel N20 that good.
If any of you had or have N20 with same setup please let me know what you guys think?

ls1 rings weren't designed with nitrous use in mind obviously, but they're far from weak. There is a guy that was spraying a 300 shot on a stock bottem end ls1 over at ls1tech.com. You'll be able to spray a 100 forever.

Sorry to intrude on your thread cam99ss, but I have a related question. How long, continual time wise, will a bottle of N02 last? Lets say 15lb bottle. Also where do you get one filled up and how much to fill it up.

A 15lb bottle on a 100 shot won't last anywhere near that long.

10 lb bottle

50 shot = 12-14 1/4 mile runs
100 shot = 7-8
150 shot = 4-5

Question

LS1s love nitrous! I'm spraying a TNT wet 100 shot and have had not 1 problem. Change/check your plugs and don't get too greedy and you'll be fine.
