I'll suggest calling Lou at 972-272-7753 and talking to him personally. Lou is one of the nicest guys in the industry. Tell him that you really want to run his cam but you are leaning towards just buying direct from Comp using his specs. I may be wrong but I'll bet he'll work with you. For what it's worth, I'm using his
G5-X2 cam in my automatic transmission equiped 10 second daily driver and while it shakes the car pretty good at idle it has been a great cam. It has no problem areas. It's off idle response is great and it pulls like a freight train. Tuning is an absolute necessity with the cam. I think you'll be very happy with it.

232/240 .595/.609 112 lsa. It may be .598 on the intake lift, but that is close.

I got it from another supplier who assured me it was the same cam only without the LG name on it for $375 shipped. Comp grinds them for LG...

But I was told not to advertise where I got it...

all i can say is its a HUGE cam!!!!!!!!!!!! it made my buddies all drag car sound like a tiny cam! i want it bad but i think after talking with Gold Z (which btw, knows ALOT about these cars ) he helped me decide to go with the G5 which is a bit smaller than the other but still makes good power

I go to school at Purdue with Louis Gigliotti (Lou's son)...he had his '98 Z28 (the black one seen on the website)...which was sold last year for a FRC C5....and he had the G5-X2 in it and it sounded unbelievable with his LT's, y-pipe, and open borla...when he was on the gas it sounded like a raspy exotic sound..just awsome! He has also talked me into the G5 cam, still makes good power and on a 112lsa sounds HUGE!!!! Also would be more streetable with my A4.

Check at Futral Motorsports, they are making some badass camshafts, Alan at futral just had a 418ci LS1 dyno at 618 rwhp, he also had a 346 heads and cam LS1 dyno at 512rwhp with no short belt. He makes some badass camshafts and I think he might even be having a group purchase going on them. $380 I think was the price on a cam only.
