theres maintenance just the same if not moreso with a heads and cam combo too...changing springs out every 20k miles or so depending on the specs of the cam your running, youd probably need to get it tuned with ls1 edit to get a big cam running right...if you add lt's which is wise you wouldnt have cats and depending on your situation emissions wise you might have to alter your exhaust system every couple years to make it "legal" with most blowers now they are a basic bolt on...youll get the occastional one that eats a belt now and again and need to change your oil a little more regularly but they arent too bad to be honest...just make sure all your vitals are ok and you should be fine.

head/cam is so trite anymore. EVERYONE does it and everyone knows wut the combo's make but not many ppl do blowers....... i'm doing a blower in my next ls1

if you want something unique buy a 3.8 fbody and put a turbo on it...unless you find a blower for 1/2 its origonal price its not worth it.
