Volant VS K&N

I have heard of awesome results with the FIPK.

I haven't heard too much on the Volant, but it looks like it would be functionally identical to the K&N, except it includes a heat shield and it less expensive.

Does anyone have any experiences with the Volant, or dyno results with it? http://www.lmperformance.com/2386/1.html

Thanks any help. I would like to get the volant, but Ive just heard such good things about the K&N FIPK and nothing about the Volant.

Couldn't find much with the search...

i've heard good stuff on the FIPK... why don't you do a search on the board to see if anyone's got any dyno information between the two... why dont you just get a lid (any lid really... the hp difference between them all is too little to actually give a fo0k about) and get yourself a FTRA system or a SSRA system. they're both practically the same thing, it all depends on which one you like more from the looks, and the price of it, not to mention the quality of the product. im out yo, peace

thanks for the reply! Yeah, ive heard of better dyno results with the FIPK than the lid and FTRA. Thats why i was interested in it. The volant system just seems identical. I did a search and didn't find to much in terms of the volant. Does anyone have it??
