Volant cold air, Austin Super Sucker or the Fast toys Ram Air? Which one gives the best results? I see alot of the high flow lids, but i've never seen any of these.

 

i used to have ssra, before wife ran it into a bumper post. ill get one again. not many people sell it tho.

 

Could you tell the difference? Was itonly at higher speeds or throughout the RPM range?

i have it, very noticable gains on the top end.

around town it is basically a CAI, and the Fast Toys unit is not a ram air like the SSRA...

the volant is about as good as any lid +/- 1hp

With the SSRA can I use a hi flow lid and smooth bellow for additional gains? So basicall the Volant is overpiced in comparison to a standard hi-flo lid set up?

 

yes but they wont be monterous gains. with ssra, lid, bellows i picked up 8-9rwhp. k&n filter too. you will need to do the fra mod. ssra itself will show no gain on a dyno but you will feel it on the road.
