Question Ultra-Z Hood

Hey guys. Another Noobie Question to ask you all, then I'll be on my way. First all, I want to get the Ultra-Z hood, and it looks pretty Cool, I was wondering if those Cold Air Intake Kit's they sell are universal or do I have to get a kit for the Hood pacificly. I know it's FiberGlass or what not, which it tight. Oh and I wanted some opinions on what Spoilers would look best with it, I'll post this Webbie with the 2/3 I want, I wanted to steer away from the "SS" look and go with the "Z28 Extreme" Sorta look, I am proud to be a Z Owner and not some Rice Rod Homo. -.-; Who has to spend more money then my car is worth to beat it stock, heh.

2002' Red Z28 btw.

I wanted the Wings West Body Kit, Strip Kit, and Ultra-Z Hood, the WS6 Hood for the Camaro actually looks kinda cool, And maybe the Ultra-Z Spoiler, or the Commando Spoiler.. and a Grill Insert.. Also how much would it be to paint most this stuff? Myself or Professionaly.

Thank you all for your Help. ~BigRedZ28

Welcome.

The ultra-z hood is fiberglass, NOT carbon fiber. I think the intake kit they sell with it is just a intake lid. You can get one for $100 or less if you look around.

I didnt know they had the WS6 hood for the Camaro.I think it's more than"kina cool" I think it "Rocks Man".Coarse I like TAs that could be why
And I do like the the Ultra Z hood I used to think it rocked but now compared to the WS6 look for the Camaro...the Ultra Z is "kinda cool" comparing IMO.
I didnt see the the Ultra Z spoiler...But if I had to choose I would concider the Custom Spoiler. But the Groud effects kit and spoiler I'm gettin is the ZR-28 package @LG motorsports. It has one of the best funtioning performance spoiler avail. IMO.The edges arent so high where it meets the Body panels more tapered/blended.Unlike the others totally noticable bump up to the spoiler if you know what I mean?

Since my car is Silver w/black top.My ground effects and spoiler will be painted black to keep up with the color scheme already exsisting.

All in all I like the stuff you concidering it'll look cool SPECIFICALLY awesome dude

yeah i really like the WS6 Style hood, as well as the Ultra-Z hood. But the question is, isn't putting the WS6 hood like trying to be a WS6?

I wouldnt put that on my car trying to POS as a WS6 please.I'd put it on cuz it looks great.Sure some could look at it that way,but who really gives a shiot what other retard possesive self-centered I wanna be the only WS6 owner thinks in these cases...I dont
But if you should yeah want to POS and get this hood and WS6 wheels and put some TA emblems on then I'd think you would be trying to be a WS6,thats wrong really wrong.
It's about the appearance, and as I already stated I think it "Rocks" and does look damn good on the Z too IMO.
I guess the Ulta Z hood is more appropiate for a Z but that WS6 hood looks good, really good on the Z28.
Same applies to people puttin the SS hoods on the cars, whatever looks good right. It's about the appearance not poseing for me.

I recently put the Ultra Z hood on my car, and it looks awesome! I am very pleased with it.
I'm getting the pics back soon, and I will have them posted.

Yes post those pics. The Ultra Z hood is number one when it comes to hoods. IMHO that is.

I was actually talking to someone about the Ultra-Z hood on my '02 Z28. He said it looked the best and was destinct without copying any of the other hood designs. I like it and I am considering buying the set up. Combined with a cut out you Z can really be awesome.
