u-joints

I need to replace both u-joints on my driveshaft. Is replacing them with the same stock u-joints ok? If so, where can i get them without being OVERcharged by the GM parts department?

If you think i should get aftermarket, any info?

stock u-joints will work fine as long as you are not putting more power to them than they were designed for. the only place that comes to mind when you say that you want to buy stock u-joints but not from the dealer would be a naoa type parts store..i know it is not much info but i hope it helps
