After college, i'm thinking about getting a 95 or 96 Z28 and supercharging it. I like the body, but hate the interior. Is it possible and/or easy to swap the ENTIRE interior of a 97-02 Z28 to a 95 or 96? Including entire consoles and dash + instruments.

 

The interior is the same from '97 (LT1's) through '02 (LS1's) right? So if you want the LT1 car but the newer interior, just get a '97?! If you're already prepared to buy a '96, what's a few more bucks to get a '97?? And if you don't like the '97+ tail-lights, then just buy the pre-'97 tail-lights! That would be easier IMO than switching the interior.

 

I know, i've thought about that. But a 95 is usually several thousand dollars cheaper than a 97. I have places i can get the new parts from for really really cheap. So replacing the interior will not be costly. Money will be tight, so i want to spend as little on the car as possible (without getting a lemon) and then get a good supercharger. For the car, looking at under $6,000
