Trex Cam
Well ya need a 4k+ stall being a A4. Plus i would not feel safe spinning a stock bottom end as high as they did to get those numbers. I would go with something that makes power down low. That cam seems to be more for bragging rights more than anything unless you plan to build a motor that can rev to the sky no problem.
Benefits:
- 451 RWHP / 406 RWTQ!!!!!
(with LT's of course, which you've already got)
- while I haven't heard one running with it yet, I'm sure the sound (@ idle especially
) is killer!!
- "bragging rights", if you'd like them
Downfalls:
- will need a serious computer re-tuning!!
- requires a high-stall converter (well, for optimum performance), and/or lower gears
- requires upgrading other parts internally, mainly valvetrain (pushrods, springs)
- fuel mileage go "bye! bye!"
Still, I think that's one helluva radical cam, and something I would most definitely venture into!!
Especially considering the price is the same as any other cam!

No one has been able to duplicate the 451rwhp. Not even close. I would look for good performance at the track but not big #s.
