Transgo shift kit ... good idea or bad?

I just pulled the trans in my 98 Z28. I am installing a midwest torque converter and was thinking about a shift kit also. does any one have any experience of them being good or bad. does the car shift much faster after a shift kit?

Thumbs up In my opinion

the TransGo kit is great. I installed mine with my Yank ST3500 and it seems to be doing it's job (making the trans last longer and shift harder) I've got over a 100 passes in the 12s with many in the low 12s (over 450 passes total) and it just keeps clicking them off. (knocking on wood)
