I have a 97 camaro convert with a v-6 auto. I have purchased a 99 SS T-Top car with a LS1 and 6 spd. I am putting the motor and trans from the SS in the convertible. I am having problems with the trans crossmember. Which one will fit. Is the floor pan the same through all of the converts? Do i need to weld in some of the floor structure from the other car for the crossmember? Any Ideas? I am going to consult the dealer tomorrow but figure there is more info here.
