Go to Kelly Blue Book (www.kbb.com) and figure up what it's worth as though it were your car and you were selling it. That'll at least give you a ballpark of its worth. Its "value" is another matter... that, as you know, is in the eye of the beholder! If you like it, it wags your tail, and it is within your means... go for it!

Was that retail or trade-in value? If it's retail, I'd try to get them to come down even more, to somewhere between those two figures.

I think that is a bit high. I have a NBM 2000 Z28 with 40k on it. Leather, t tops, cd changer.... I would probably sell it for $15,000 if I could get it.

yeah ma, they're out of their damn minds, It probably a very nice car, but you can defintly get a better price, last one I saw was a 2001 Z-28, loaded with 21K miles for $19K s you might want to look for something newer as well.

look at autortrader for 76137 (Fort Worth, TX) i have found several Formula WS-6s (around $13,000) for less then that. they would be faster and lighter. Cars in texas are cheaper if you want to take a drive. u could find a z28 for prob 11-12000 here or an SS for 16000... had a friend just buy a 00 SS for 12,500 with 25000 miles on it

I'm also looking at a 98 Black, 6spd., non-WS6 T/A. It has 72000k. Paint is perfect and interior is flawless. They are asking $13,900 for it. I can't decide if I want to sell my 95 to get it though.

yeah, some people really offend me with the prices they are asking...ESPECIALLY dealers.

There are places that price '98 V6 f-bodies at 14K! And I saw an '00 TA (not WS6) for 20k. WTF?

trippin'!

Look on auto trader or yahoo autos..it's hard to separate the LS1s from the V6s sometimes because of the greedy sellers.

Then you have individuals asking 15K for '98 LS1s...get the hell out of here..

I guess it doesn't hurt to ask, but it really makes me mad when people cheat..and this is analogous to cheating.

A 70K mile car is a used car.
