tracklink system...does it work?

tracklink system...does it work?

i was on thunderracing.com and under suspension there something called tracklink system its $520, does anyone have it, do you keep your torque arm? i dont get how it works, tell me if its worth the money, or what else can i buy (besides Hal's) to get better traction...

Yeah, I've seen 2 different ones from BMR and one from Global west.About the same price.Ive heard good things abou the GW traclink it take the torque arm front mount off the trans and allows pivot angle increases or decreases on the rear end. The BMR tracpac I think replaces the OE torque arm with a shorter one w/ different mount spot. they take stress off the trans,improve straight line traction,and improves wheel set traction (gw)while in turns and gunning it,less chance of a 180.
I'm gettin the GW traclink eventually.

I would highly recommend spending your money on the Hal setup first. I'm still running the stock torque arm, have run mid-10's, and pulled sub-1.5 60' times. I was under the car today, and it's still straight. It certainly helps having an A4.

No personal experience with either, but I've read of people tearing their floorpan with the TracLink arm.

i was thining of gettin the spohn one...anyone hear about that, or anyone want to trade my never used BMR tq arm and a drive shaft loop....both red and never used...
