Post TR220 or TR224 on a 114 center

What would the differences be? I want to pass inspection, so a 114 center is a must. How much rougher does the 224 idle, and does the 220 really sound stock? Thunder said that the 220 gives up ~10 peak hp to the 224, and shift point would be ~300 rpm lower (6300 vs. 6600). Does this all sound right? What are your experiences and suggestions?

Would the 224 be any faster than the 220 shifting at 6200-6300?

The car is a '01 T/A M6 with normal bolt on's, and TTS long tubes with cats are on order.
