Torque Reduction

What is the " Torque Reduction " that is removed in the SLP programming?

They probably mean, Torque Management. Torque Management is a function of the PCM that pulls timing right before a shift, and also when it deems that you are performing an "abusive" maneuver with the car (whatever the heck that means). In a nutshell, its something that slows you down, at the benefit of longer transmission life. It is on both M6 and A4 cars, and most people end up removing it for a dynotune.
