I hit 155 mph on my 93, I'm assuming that I hit 155 due to redlining in 5th, speedometer was pegged at 150 mark for about 20 seconds before I hit redline, I think either R&T or MT magazine pegged the 93's @155mph, the 93TA's @154 & the 93Formula's @156. They were all m-6 trannys.

Don't know numbers on the LS1's though. I DO know that the 93 LT1's had rev limiters on the A4's, and not on the m-6's.

 

Let me re-phrase what I said earlier. According to the phamplet that came with the HPP+, the programmed top speed on a 94 Z28 was 149. Maybe HyperTech was wrong, I dunno. Mine was an A4.

I remember when Motor Trend tested a Cobra, but I forgot what year it was and the best they got out of it was 137 MPH.
