98-99 LS1s use the small throttle cam on the tb and the 00-02 cars use the larger throttle cam.If one wanted to swap from a small cam TB to a TB with the larger throttle cam then all that needs to be done is to swap to the matching year throttle cable?Is that right?

LS1 throttle cable (98-99, without TCS) = 12565559
LS1 throttle cable (00-02, without TCS) = 12565560

 

Or you could swap the throttle body shaft, which is what most people do.

i know that,i dont want to have to rework another shaft


but back the question at hand... swap cables?
