Thoughts on f-15
Was wondering what y'all thougth about the f-15, i dont care about the lope(actually want that) only concern is how fast this sucker will burn up valve springs thanks, also i know i need an ls6 intake manifold
Re: Thoughts on f-15
Better get heads, gears and a very good tune.
From what I've been told, stock heads don't really flow much past the high 5.8x range. Anything more is overkill. Probably be better off running more duration w/the lift in that range.
The next problem is it'll move your power band up quite a bit so to keep in that power band you'll need gears. Unless you like the idea of smaller cammed cars beating you.
Bigger is not always better. You need the whole combo to work in a specific range. If you're set on Futral, call (if they're still around after the storm) and talk to them.

Re: Thoughts on f-15
considering Kraest made 415hp hp with stock heads through a corvette drivetrain...it sounds like a badass cam.
and from what he told me, the lobes are more of and XE grind not as aggressive as the XE-R.
get good springs to start with and you'll be fine
