Is it safe to run without the piece of plastic underneath and no windshield washer bottle. I took them both out to get more air to my KN FIPK, but what about rain? Should I be worried. I went to work at noon today, when I got off at 9 it was pouring and had to drive the Z home. I went through a couple of huge puddles and was wondering if getting air in my filter is a potential hazard?
