I really thought SLP bolt-ons were the way to go, but everyone keeps talking about the night and day difference how much better weld-ons are. I can't understand the huge difference. Before I was thinking BMR boxed but it seems people have problems with the fix and quality of the weld. I am so confussed what to go with!!! I thought of one thing....why doesn't SLP put the SFC on the SS?

I doubt G.M. would allow any SFC to be installed on there cars, buy what you want but I'm telling you the bolt-on SFC will do the job.

As I said you can go with www.spectaclesolutions.com bolt-on SFC, there just as good as the SLP's but will cost you less. I'll tell you what, if you get the bolt-on SFC drive your car up to me and I'll install them right.. and the cost will be $0.00.

Thanks for the input Al,
Will you agree that a set of Bolt-on SFC will perform just as well as say a set of BMR boxed (welded). I'm just reading else where that welded is night and day, and also the weight of the bolt-ons. I'm not sure what BMR boxed weigh in at. The install of the boxed doesn't worry me at all, but thanks for the offer. Its the welding of the boxed that would have me worried though.
Thanks-Joe

Joe, forget about the difference in the weight of the SFC, there's not that big of a difference and unless you're running a full blown racer it's no big deal.

I've said this before to other's worried about the bolt-on's not doing there job, forgetaboutit , they will do the job just fine.

I know you've read other post saying the bolt-on's will loosen up over time, I've installed a couple of them for friends and one has well over 15k on his and there as tight as the day we installed them. I'd like to mention he drives his SS very very very hard, so all that B.S. about them not being good is just that ( B.S. ).

I'm not going to say the boxed weld-on's are bad but there's no way I would to weld ( I also can weld ) anything on my cars, these are just my opinions. It's your car so do what you thinks best, good luck with your choice.
