what should I go with? Procharger seems to have the best rep? Who out there has done one of these?

 

If you're thinkin' about a blower then you might wanna think about a rebuild too.

If you really do want a blower, ATI and Vortech are the only two that I would even consider...JMO

If your gonna do that, get a rebuild of your engine and have forged internals ie. forged pistons, rods, etc. The pistons on our cars are decent, but once you start adding forced induction, it would be a good idea to have forged internals.

A blower can be installed without a rebuild, just make sure your boost isn't too high, or you don't get too "throttle-happy".

 

You may also want to consider Subframes and a STB for starters. They will help stiffen up the car some, as I sure you have noticed, the convertible is not exactly "rock solid".

As for the super charger, I've had no problems with my Vortech set up.

Clutch and a rear end if you get "Frisky".
