Thermostat & AutoTap

Does dropping to the 160 degree t-stat actually do anything for you? Also, does anyone have estimates on how much an AutoTap setup would cost? Or LS1Edit for that manner. I really want to get into that computer, but wondering how much it would cost

I dont have a laptop but have an extra PC I could keep in the garage

Not much in a stock motor. 175- 185 degrees or so is better.

Any PCM software is pretty much useless without a Laptop as you need to log going down the road.

Re: Thermostat & AutoTap

i have a 160 stat in my 99z and i've got a program to monitor the computer parameters. it maintains a consistent 175deg driving down the road in the south florida heat.
