Thermostat

Can anybody give me info on modding the stock thermostat to open at 160º? I have heard about this, but can't find any info on it.

the engine will only run as cool as the thermostat....cause if it cools below that temp, the stat will close and the temp will rise again.

too cool is possible, since the engine determines some of it's sensor data according to temp. but 160 is not too low.
