Check Cartek.....are they still in business? Last I heard, they were making one that was turning out some impressive dyno #'s.

I saw an ad in the latest GMHTP but don't remember what company it was. It only said "call for price", though...

The Mezerie pump has been very popular. Here is some info that we have on our site -

This is a bolt-on replacement for your stock water pump that will show you a 10-12hp gain. You will retain your stock thermostat housing but a small block Chevy thermostat is required for the install (listed below). Black and natural colored pumps are usually in stock. The other colors have to be special ordered.

summit is selling 2 styles:

MEZ-WP-119S Water Pump Electric Black GM LS1 98-02 F-Body, 97-Up Vette, Chevy 5.3 $392.39

and

MEZ-WP319S Electric Water Pump, SBC LS1, Corvette 1997-03, F-Body 1998-02, Sepentine, Black $499.95

which one is the proper one? i would think the first, since the second mentiones something about serpentine...maybe for ls1 style engines in trucks???

and why are they so much cheaper than the one tbyrne lists??

The second pump is the new street version that everyone has been going with. Mezerie had an introductory price when these were released so we were selling them for $499. it sounds like Summit didn't update their site yet and they also don't sponsor sites like this to keep them going so that saves some expense.

We do price match most advertised prices.
