is a tc bad for a trans
is a tc bad for a trans
i am getting a set of 3.73s and also want a tc about a 2500 stall is that hard on a stock trans and will i have to get it rebuilt soon if i go ahead and put it in there. thanks alot for any info also i have a ls1 with a 4l60e
a trans cooler is a good idea, but with only a 2500 stall, your tranny should be fine. If you want better ETs, but don't want to go extreme, you might consider a 3000 stall convertor. 3500 would probably be too much if you are worried about tranny rebuilding, cuz then it would be more likely down the road.

if your going to spend money on a TC I would go with the above 2800 - 3200 the tranny will be fine but like anything if you run it hard then expext to have problems. even if it were stock.
