Tbb?

Is it worth it to do a TBB will there be any noticable gains with this?

Re: Tbb?

I've done it on all 3 of my f-bods. It stops hot coolant from flowing through the throttle body facilitating cooler air for the intake. Simple as that. If I lived in the Yukon, I wouldn't do it, but for everywhere else, I think it's worth it. Cheap too.

Re: Tbb?

Gains would be very minimal (if any), it won't hurt anything so I guess if you want to use up some time go for it.

Re: Tbb?

on warmed up engines, i've seen several places where it showed 3-5hp on a dyno.

will you feel that or see it at the track...no chance.

but for $5 in parts...why not

Re: Tbb?

I'd say 1-2hp at the crank if you're lucky. I did it though. Why? Because 1-2hp here, 1-2 hp there, and suddenly you are seeing significant gains. Only thing I would recommend is scrap the plans online and do it like I did.

Buy 2 feet of tube, run it from the radiator to the block. Much cleaner looking and costs even less ;-)

Re: Tbb?

For a few bucks in cost, why not do it?
